GaeaStar is tackling the disposable and paper cup environmental issues by creating a better alternative with just clay, water, salt, and sand. To make the disposable containers, they developed a special 3D-printer that churns them out in “30 seconds or less.” This idea was inspired by the ancient Indian culture and its use of Kulhars, which are disposable clay cups commonly used in India for tea and coffee at local tea stalls.
